Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Wednesday 18th February is Ash Wednesday. There will be the blessing and imposition of Ashes, and Mass at 7:00pm (here at St. Peter’s). Please be guided accordingly!
Friendship Sunday will be observed on Sunday 15th February. The service will start at 9:00am. Invite a friend to join us in this observance as we worship and fellowship together.
The Lenten pulpit exchange will take place from Sunday 22nd February (Lent I) to Sunday 15th March (Lent IV). The clergy will return to their respective parishes on Sunday 22nd March (Lent V).

As part of the preparation for Trinity Sunday (May 31st), the Trinity Service Committee is launching a competition to choose a theme for the service. The competition is opened to the members of our all our congregations. Each member here at St. Peter’s who is entering a theme is to submit it to our Parish Priest, Canon Elroy Zakers, the Chairman of the Committee. This is to be done by February 28th, 2026. The person’s whose theme is chosen will receive a prize.
Communion to the sick and shut-in in the parish will be suspended for this month (February). This is because the Parish Priest will be out of parish, being part of the Lenten pulpit exchange. Apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused!
